The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has extended the
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southeastern Curry County in east central New Mexico...
* Until 530 AM MDT.
* At 329 AM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
1.25 and 2 inches of rain have fallen in and around the city
limits of Clovis and Cannon Air Force Base. Additional rainfall
amounts of 0.5 inches to 1 inch are possible in the warned area.
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
