Description: 
At 1029 PM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen in some areas. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. A few low water crossing are reported flooded in northwest Bexar County. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... San Antonio, Castroville, San Antonio Int Airport, Canyon Lake, Leon Valley, Helotes, Fair Oaks Ranch, Bulverde, Shavano Park, Hollywood Park, Cross Mountain, Lacoste, The Dominion, Leon Springs, Government Canyon State Natural Area, Sea World, Cliff, Lackland AFB, Timberwood Park and Rio Medina.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
