* At 454 AM CST, Local law enforcement reported flooding was
occurring from heavy rain that has occurred across the warned
area. Between 4 and 8 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding
is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Mountain Grove, Houston, Licking, Cabool, Raymondville, Huggins,
Bendavis, Simmons, Elk Creek, Bucyrus, Graff, Solo, Success, Roby,
Prescott, Hazelton, Vanzant, Drury, Gentryville and Bryant Creek
State Park.

Big Piney River at Cleveland Road, Boone Creek at Boone Creek
Road, West Fork Roubidoux Creek at Upton Road, North Fork River at
Highway EE, Beaver Creek at Crewes Ford Road, Fox Creek at County
Road 246 and Little Piney River at Union Road.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
