Eastern Lowndes County in south central Georgia...
* Until 345 AM EST.
* At 1131 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Lakeland, Lake Park, Moody Air Force Base, Meigs, Naylor, Hansell,
Stockton, Greenwood, Barretts, Courthouse and Teeterville.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
