The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southwestern Mobile County in southwestern Alabama...
* Until 200 AM CST.
* At 1100 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
have fallen with additional rounds of heavy rain moving into the
area shortly. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Bayou La Batre, Coden, Alabama Port, Dixon Corner, Kirewakra, Fowl
River, South Orchard, Delchamps, Laurendine, Smithport, Bayleys
Corner, Mon Louis, Faustinas, Belle Fontaine, Sunny Cove and
Hollingers Island.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
