* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of North Mississippi, including the following counties, Itawamba, Lee and Pontotoc. * WHEN...Until 930 PM CST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 725 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen with additional rainfall expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Tupelo, Pontotoc, Fulton, Baldwyn, Verona, Tombigbee State Park, Trace State Park, Saltillo, Guntown, Shannon, Plantersville, Mantachie, Furrs, Blair, Evergreen, Troy, Pratts Friendship, Nettleton, Sherman and Algoma. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
