Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of central Kentucky, including the following
counties, Breckinridge, Bullitt, Franklin, Grayson, Hardin, Hart,
Jefferson, Larue, Meade, Nelson, Shelby and Spencer.
* WHEN...Until 1115 AM CDT /1215 PM EDT/.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 809 AM CDT /909 AM EDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5
and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Minor flooding was reported
near the 13000 block of South Dixie Highway.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Elizabethtown, Shelbyville, Bardstown, Shepherdsville,
Leitchfield, Hodgenville, Taylorsville, Radcliff, Mount
Washington and Hillview.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
