* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Southern Lee and Harnett counties.
* WHEN...Until 1230 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1059 AM EDT, Widespread heavy rain has moved out of the
area. Continued draining will likely persist the threat for
minor flooding in the advisory area for the next hour.
Between 2 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Sanford, Lillington, Angier, Coats, Broadway, Raven Rock
State Park, Seminole, Pineview, Buies Creek, Olivia, Lemon
Springs and Tramway.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
