Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Florida, including the following
counties, Northeast Broward and Southeast Palm Beach.
* WHEN...Until 845 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 646 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to slow
moving thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches
of rain have fallen from the slow moving thunderstorms during
the last hour.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area during the next couple of hours from the slow
moving thunderstorms. This additional rain will result in
minor flooding. If the rainfall amounts increase more than
forecast, then a Flash Flood warning may be needed for this
area.

Coral Springs, Pompano Beach, Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach,
Delray Beach, Margate, Lighthouse Point, Highland Beach,
Coconut Creek, Parkland, Hillsboro Beach, Boca Del Mar, Boca
Pointe, Hamptons At Boca Raton, Whisper Walk, Mission Bay,
Godfrey Road, Kings Point, Boca West and Fau South Campus.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
