* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Franklin, Nash and Wilson. This includes Interstate 95 between Dortches and Kenly. * WHEN...Until noon EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 857 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Rocky Mount, Nashville, Wilson, Elm City, Dortches, Bailey, Bunn, Red Oak, Sharpsburg, Kenly, Spring Hope, Lucama, Middlesex, Black Creek, Whitakers, Sims, Castalia, Tar River Reservoir, New Hope and Buckhorn Reservoir.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
