* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central California, including the following counties, central Monterey and south central San Benito. * WHEN...Until 900 AM PDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 758 AM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 0.25 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1 to 0.25 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Soledad, Greenfield and King City. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
