* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of south central Virginia, including the following counties, Charlotte and Halifax. * WHEN...Until 215 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1214 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that rainfall has exited the area for the remainder of tonight. However, minor flooding will persist in spots due to between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain that fell within a few minutes time earlier this evening. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Buckskin Creek, Buffalo Creek, Armistead Branch, Buck Branch, Cargills Creek, Aarons Creek, Bluestone Creek, Big Branch, Black Walnut Creek, Catawba Creek and Banister River. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
