Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive runoff continues.
* WHERE...A portion of western North Carolina, including the
following county, Henderson.
* WHEN...Until 330 AM EDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. River or stream flows are elevated.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 907 PM EDT, most stream gauges have returned to below-
bankfull conditions. A handful of locations continue to
experience above-bankfull conditions. The advisory will be
allowed to continue until all sites are reporting a return to
normal conditions.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Hendersonville, Mills River, Fletcher, Flat Rock, Etowah,
Mountain Home, Laurel Park, Saluda, Dupont State Forest,
Jones Gap State Park, Bat Cave, Chimney Rock State Park,
Valley Hill, East Flat Rock, Horse Shoe, Crab Creek and Dana.
