* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central Virginia, including the following county, Prince Edward. * WHEN...Until 200 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1117 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen in the past 40 minutes. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.0 inches are expected over the area through midnight. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
