Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of Puerto Rico, including the following
counties, Adjuntas, Ciales, Guayanilla, Jayuya, Juana Diaz,
Orocovis, Penuelas, Ponce, Utuado and Villalba.
* WHEN...Until 500 PM AST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways.
Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 353 PM AST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated moderate, but persistent rain. Minor flooding is
already occurring in the advisory area. Between 1 and 6
inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will prolong the flooding.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
