Description:
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Canovanas, Ceiba, Fajardo, Luquillo, Naguabo and Rio
Grande.
* WHEN...Until 530 AM AST.
* IMPACTS...Water over roadways. River or stream flows are elevated.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 218 AM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Up to 3 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Rio Blanco, Rio Espiritu Santo, and Rio Fajardo.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
Instruction:
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
