Description:
* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Missouri, including
the following counties, in east central Missouri, southeastern
Jefferson and southeastern Washington. In southeast Missouri,
northwestern Madison, Saint Francois and Sainte Genevieve.
* WHEN...Until 1145 AM CST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Some low-water crossings may become impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 841 AM CST, the public reported heavy rain in the advisory
area due to thunderstorms has caused 1-2 inches of water over
the roadway. This will cause urban and small stream flooding,
and make low water crossings impassable. Between 1 and 3
inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Farmington, Bonne Terre, Desloge, Ste. Genevieve, Bismarck,
Leadwood, Park Hills, Iron Mountain Lake, Bloomsdale,
Irondale, Rocky Ridge, Knob Lick, Weingarten, Iron Mountain,
Roselle, Leadington, Caledonia, French Village, Doe Run and
Valles Mill.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
