Description: 
* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Missouri, including the following counties, northern Iron and northern Reynolds. * WHEN...Until 915 PM CST Monday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 311 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ironton, Reynolds, Pilot Knob, Arcadia, Oates, Belleview, Glover, Centerville, Black, Lesterville, Hogan, Chloride, Corridon and Granite. - This includes the following State Parks... Johnsons Shut-Ins State Park, Fort Davidson Historic Site, Elephant Rocks State Park and Taum Sauk Mountain State Park.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
