Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of east central, northeast, and southeast
Oklahoma, including the following counties, in east central
Oklahoma, Cherokee, Muskogee and Sequoyah. In northeast Oklahoma,
Adair, Craig, Delaware, Mayes, Nowata, Okmulgee, Ottawa, Rogers
and Wagoner. In southeast Oklahoma, McIntosh.
* WHEN...Until 700 PM CST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 331 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches and locally
higher are expected over the area. This additional rain will
result in minor flooding.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
