County.
For the North Fork Of The Red River...including Shamrock 2N...
elevated river levels are forecast.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...North Fork Of The Red River at Shamrock 2N.
* WHEN...From this morning to tomorrow morning.
* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Water begins to spread out over the 0.2
mile floodplain. Cattle grazing in flood plain should have access
to higher ground. Minor farm land flooding begins to occur a few
miles downstream from gage site.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 5:45 AM CST Monday the stage was 8.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.0
feet this afternoon.
- Action stage is 9.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
