...The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in
Oklahoma...
Canadian River near Bridgeport affecting Caddo, Canadian, Blaine
and Grady Counties.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Canadian River near Bridgeport.
* WHEN...Until Thursday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, The river remains within its banks in
southern Blaine... northern Caddo... and southwestern Canadian
counties. Low-lying bottom lands near the river may be cut off
from easy access by high water in side channels.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:00 PM CST Monday, The stage was estimated at 11.6 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will fall to 11.2 feet tomorrow evening.
It will then rise to 12.2 feet early Thursday morning. It
will fall to 11.4 feet early Friday afternoon. It will then
rise to 11.6 feet Saturday morning. It will fall again and
remain below flood stage.
- Action stage is 12.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
