* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northwest California, including the following county, northwestern Mendocino. * WHEN...Until 900 PM PST. * IMPACTS...Rapid rises in small streams has occurred and will continue to occurs tonight. There may be water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 454 PM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area this evening. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Laytonville, Leggett, Rockport, Branscomb, Piercy and Dos Rios. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
