* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of northwest California, including the following county, Del Norte. * WHEN...Until 800 AM PST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. There will be an increased risk of rock and land slides along roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 547 AM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Crescent City, Jedediah Smith State Park, Klamath, Jack McNamera Field, Gasquet, Bertsch-Oceanview, Smith River, Crescent City North, Klamath Glen, Requa and Fort Dick. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
