* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Florida, including the following county, East Central Broward. * WHEN...Until 1115 AM EST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1028 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated that the thunderstorms have moved southwest of the area and only light to moderate rains are occurring over area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen over this area during the last hour, and minor flooding is ongoing in the advisory area. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area with the moderate rains. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Therefore, the Flood Advisory remains in effect for East Central Broward County until 1115 AM EST this morning. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Pompano Beach, Davie, Plantation, Sunrise, Tamarac, Margate, Lighthouse Point, Lauderdale-By- The-Sea, Lauderhill, Coconut Creek, Oakland Park, North Lauderdale, Lauderdale Lakes, Dania Beach, Wilton Manors, Hillsboro Beach, Sea Ranch Lakes and Lazy Lake. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
