* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Florida, including the following county, Southeast Broward. * WHEN...Until 115 PM EST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1101 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated that the heavy rains have ended over the area. Rainfall amounts of 1 and 2 inches have fallen from the early thunderstorms. This amount of rainfall will take sometime to drain away, therefore the Flood Advisory for Southeast Broward County will continue in effect until 115 PM EST for this area. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Fort Lauderdale, Pembroke Pines, Hollywood, Miramar, Davie, Plantation, Sunrise, Lauderhill, Dania Beach, Cooper City, West Park, Nova Southeastern University, Chambers Estates, Royal Palm Ranches, Broadview Park, Pine Island Ridge, Oak Point, Sunshine Acres, Estates Of Fort Lauderdale and Ravenswood Estates. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
