Green River near Mammoth Cave affecting Edmonson County. .Heavy rain from the past 48 hours will cause the river to rise. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Green River near Mammoth Cave. * WHEN...From this morning to early Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Green River Ferry closes to RV and trailer traffic due to high water. Heavy loads will be at the judgment of the ferry operator considering the 12 ton load limit of ferry. Backcountry camping on the Green River floodplain is prohibited. At 20.1 feet, Launching of paddle craft is prohibited.
