* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of northwest California, including the following county, western Del Norte. * WHEN...Until 445 AM PST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. There will be an increased risk of rock and land slides along roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 232 AM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 0.8 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Crescent City, Jedediah Smith State Park, Jack McNamera Field, Klamath, Bertsch-Oceanview, Crescent City North, Smith River, Fort Dick, Requa and Klamath Glen. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
