Description:
* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of northwest Louisiana, including the following
parish, southwestern Caddo and northeast Texas, including the
following counties, northwestern Angelina, eastern Cherokee,
Harrison, Nacogdoches, Panola, Rusk, northwestern San Augustine
and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 700 PM CST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 305 PM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause
urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of
rain have fallen since late morning.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches, with isolated
higher amounts, are expected over the area. Given that the
ground is already saturated in wake of heavy rain that fell
on Christmas Eve, this additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Shreveport, Nacogdoches, Marshall, Henderson, Carthage, Rusk,
Center, Greenwood, Blanchard, Waskom, Tatum, Alto, Tenaha,
Timpson, Garrison, Beckville, Joaquin, Mooringsport, Wells
and Pinehill.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
