Description:
* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is occurring.
* WHERE...A portion of northern California, including the following
counties, San Francisco and northwestern San Mateo.
* WHEN...Until 445 AM PST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 843 PM PST, local law enforcement reported flooding on
Highway 1 near Interstate 280 merge south of Daly City.
Between 0.2 and 0.3 inches of rain have fallen over the last
24 hours.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.6 to 1.2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
San Francisco, Daly City, South San Francisco, San Bruno,
Pacifica, Millbrae, Half Moon Bay, El Granada, Brisbane,
Colma, Broadmoor, Montara and Moss Beach.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
