Oregon...
Silvies River Near Burns affecting Harney County.
.Flooding will continue along the Silvies River near Burns Oregon.
River levels will gradually decline, dropping below flood stage on
Thursday. However flooding impacts will likely extend beyond
Thursday and more rises are possible next week as warmer
temperatures over the weekend increase snowmelt.
For the Silvies River...including Burns...flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Flooding is occurring and flooding is forecast.

* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...Extensive flooding is occurring and affecting roads and
homes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:00 PM PDT Tuesday the stage was 12.6 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 12:00 PM PDT Tuesday was 13.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage on
Thursday. However, flooding has already occurred and will
continue.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
