This will likely push portions of the river near Newaygo and Bridgeton slightly above minor flood stage in the coming days. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Muskegon River at Bridgeton. * WHEN...From Friday morning to late Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Water overflows the banks into wooded areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 11.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Friday morning to a crest of 13.4 feet early Saturday morning.
