Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...
Mississinewa River near Ridgeville.
.Heavy rainfall Wednesday evening has lead to minor to moderate
flooding on the Mississinewa River near Ridgeville. Moderate
flooding is expected to continue through Thursday night. Minor to
moderate flooding is expected to continue into this weekend
following additional moderate to heavy rainfall this week.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Mississinewa River near Ridgeville.
* WHEN...From early this morning until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, State Road 1 south of the intersection
with SR 28 in western Randolph County is impassable. Extensive
agricultural flooding in progress. At least a few county roads
flooded including West CR 825 east of SR 1 and West River Road
west of SR 1.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:00 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 9.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.6
feet this afternoon.
- Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
