...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Arkansas...
Arkansas River At Pendleton affecting Arkansas, Desha and Lincoln
Counties.
For the Arkansas River...including Pendleton...Moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Arkansas River at Pendleton.
* WHEN...From Monday afternoon until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 32.0 feet, Area access roads on right descending bank
upstream and downstream of the bridge are flooded. Property inside
the levee in the Pendeleton area is threatened and should be
removed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 26.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Monday afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 32.0
feet early Tuesday afternoon. This is based off of future
rainfall. Continue to monitor latest forecasts for updates.
- Flood stage is 31.0 feet.
