...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Arkansas...
Saline River Near Rye affecting Bradley, Ashley, Drew and
Cleveland Counties.
For the Saline River...including Rye...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Saline River near Rye.
* WHEN...From Tuesday evening until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 29.0 feet, Railroad Bridge across the river east of
Warren effected. State Highway 8 in Eastern Bradley County may be
flooded. State Highway 8 Bridge at Longview between Ashley and
Bradley counties and numerous county roads along the river flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 13.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
Tuesday evening and continue rising to 29.5 feet early Friday
morning. This is based off of future rainfall. Continue to
monitor latest forecasts for updates.
- Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
