following rivers in Texas...
Sulphur River Near Talco affecting Morris, Red River, Franklin
and Titus Counties.
For the Sulphur River...including Talco...Moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Sulphur River near Talco.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Expect moderate flooding of lowland areas
with some secondary roadways closed. All cattle and equipment
nearby the river should be moved to higher ground.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 23.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:45 AM CDT Saturday was 23.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 26.0
feet Monday morning.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Instruction:
Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
