...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... Illinois... Patoka River near Princeton affecting Gibson County. Wabash River at New Harmony affecting White, Gallatin, Gibson, Wabash and Posey Counties. .One more round of moderate rainfall can be expected today before we begin to dry out. The Patoka River is already above flood stage and will crest late next week. The Wabash River will rise above flood stage this afternoon and crest on April 14. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Patoka River near Princeton. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Flooding affects mainly farmland. Seasonal camping trailers closest to the river become inundated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 19.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22.9 feet early Friday afternoon. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 23.2 feet on 05/17/2002.
