Virginia...Ohio...
Ohio River At Point Pleasant affecting Mason and Gallia Counties.
For the Ohio River...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Ohio River at Point Pleasant.
* WHEN...Until early Wednesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 43.0 feet, Ohio Route 7 at Kyger Creek and Addison is
flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:00 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 39.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this afternoon to a crest of 42.6 feet Monday evening.
It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday morning.
- Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
42.6 feet on 02/27/1909.
