Blue River at Fredericksburg affecting Washington and Harrison Counties. .Heavy rain from the past several days has caused the river to rise with additional rainfall expected through Sunday. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Blue River at Fredericksburg. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Water covers parts of Fredericksburg-Depauw Road near river. At 22.0 feet, Backroads in town flood. Water approaches US 150. At 23.0 feet, US 150 is closed. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:30 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 20.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:30 AM EDT Saturday was 20.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22.8 feet tomorrow morning.
