Virginia...Kentucky...Ohio...
Ohio River Near Huntington affecting Boyd, Wayne, Cabell and
Lawrence Counties.
For the Ohio River...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Ohio River near Huntington.
* WHEN...From late Sunday night to Tuesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 50.0 feet, WV Route 2 at Glenwood floods. Many low
lying sections near the river flood due to backwater.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:00 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 46.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Monday morning to a crest of 50.1 feet early Monday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday
morning.
- Flood stage is 50.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
50.1 feet on 01/13/1974.
