...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Arkansas...
Spring River At Imboden affecting Lawrence and Randolph Counties.
Spring River At Hardy affecting Fulton and Sharp Counties.
For the Spring River...including Hardy, Imboden...Major flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Spring River at Hardy.
* WHEN...Until early Tuesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Flood in March 2008 crested at 22.29 feet.
Water over U.S. Highway 63 on the east side of town. Lower lying
businesses in Old Town and City Hall flooded. Water over Spring
Street at bridge. Water over railroad.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 21.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest near 23
feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late
Sunday evening.
- Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
