...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Arkansas...
Little Missouri River Near Boughton affecting Ouachita, Nevada
and Clark Counties.
For the Little Missouri River...including Boughton...Moderate
flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Little Missouri River near Boughton.
* WHEN...Until Wednesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, State Highway 53 near Whelen Springs may
be flooding. Many acres of timber and pastures flooded in Nevada
and Clark counties.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 21.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.0
feet Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late
Tuesday morning.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
