* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of Arkansas, including the following counties, Crawford, Franklin, Madison, Sebastian and Washington AR and Oklahoma, including the following counties, Adair, Cherokee, Haskell, Latimer, Le Flore, Pushmataha and Sequoyah. * WHEN...Until 345 PM CDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 337 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms over the past 72 hours. Flooding is ongoing in the warned area. Widespread rainfall totals between 3 and 6 inches occurred, with a narrow swath from east-central Oklahoma just west of Fort Smith up to near Fayetteville picking up between 6 and 9 inches. Runoff from this heavy rainfall has caused drainage ditches to fill, with standing water over roads. Also, creeks and streams are overflowing their banks and flooding roads. - Additional light rainfall up to 0.25 inches is possible in the warned area as an upper disturbance moves over the region tonight into Sunday morning. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
