Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of East Arkansas, including the following
counties, Crittenden, Cross, Lee, Phillips and St. Francis.
* WHEN...Until 700 AM CDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 953 PM CDT, runoff from thunderstorms producing heavy
rainfall will continue to result in flooding of low-lying and
poor drainage areas across much of eastern Arkansas. Flooding
is ongoing. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
West Memphis, Forrest City, Marion, Wynne, Marianna, Earle,
Hughes, Marvell, Parkin, Madison, Palestine, Elaine, Village
Creek State Park, St Francis National Park, Helena-West
Helena, White River National Wildlife Refuge, Memphis, Cherry
Valley, Caldwell and Crawfordsville.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
