...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers...
Great Miami River at Franklin.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Great Miami River at Franklin.
* WHEN...Until early Monday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, In addition to flooding along low areas of
Oxford Road near the railway bridge, water approaches riverside
apartments along Dayton-Oxford Road and flooding of basement
apartments may occur. Areas of Franklin protected by Miami
Conservancy District Levees do not flood until stages at and above
22 feet.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:00 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this morning to a crest of 14.7 feet this afternoon. It will
then fall below flood stage Monday morning.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
