For the Mississinewa River...including Marion...Minor flooding is
forecast.
For the Salamonie River...including Warren, Portland...Minor
flooding is forecast.

Logansport...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Mississinewa River near Marion.
* WHEN...Until tomorrow evening.
* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, River is at flood stage. Water begins to
enter Matter Park and crosses north Washington Street. Basements
and homes along Boots Creek begin to flood. A few residents along
River Road become concerned. Flood water approaches restaurant
near Charles Park
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:45 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 11.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.0
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage this
evening.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
