Tennessee...
South Fork of the Forked Deer near Halls
For the South Fork Forked Deer River...including Halls...Moderate
flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast. This approaches the flood of record.
* WHERE...South Fork of the Forked Deer near Halls.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Flood water is flowing over several
low-lying roads near the river and access to low-lying areas will
be limited due to high water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.1 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:00 PM CDT Thursday was 14.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.2
feet tomorrow morning.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
