...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Kentucky...
Green River at Paradise and Calhoun.
.Historic, major flooding continues along the Green River. The
forecast crest at Calhoun is 36.0 feet on Sunday. This crest would
be the fourth highest on record at Calhoun, and the highest since
January 1950. At Paradise, the river crested just shy of record
levels and has begun a very slow fall.
* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Green River at Calhoun.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 35.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 36.0
feet early Sunday morning.
- Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
