Mississippi River Near Greenville affecting Chicot, Issaquena,
East Carroll and Washington Counties.
Mississippi River At Natchez affecting Wilkinson, Adams and
Concordia Counties.
Mississippi River Near Arkansas City affecting Chicot, Washington,
Desha and Bolivar Counties.
Mississippi River At Vicksburg affecting Jefferson, Warren,
Madison, Tensas and Claiborne Counties.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Mississippi River at Natchez.
* WHEN...From late Saturday night to Friday, May 02.
* IMPACTS...At 53.0 feet, Some camps and houses are flooded around
Fort Adams.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 46.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Sunday morning and to a crest of 54.0 feet Tuesday,
April 22.
- Flood stage is 48 feet.
