...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...Kentucky...Missouri...
Ohio River at Smithland Dam, Paducah, Olmsted Lock and Dam and
Cairo.
.River levels continue to rise along the Ohio from Smithland
Dam downstream to Paducah. Crests in minor to major flood stage are
forecast. At Smithland Dam and Paducah, the river will crest around
Thursday, April 17. At Olmsted Lock and Dam, the river has just
crested and at Cairo, the river is cresting.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Ohio River at Paducah.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 47.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 48.0
feet early Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 39.0 feet.
