Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau, Hickman and New Madrid.
.The Mississippi River will fall below flood stage tonight at Cape
Girardeau, is currently cresting at Hickman, and will crest at New
Madrid Saturday evening.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Mississippi River at New Madrid.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 39.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to a crest of 39.6 feet
tomorrow evening. It will then begin a slow fall.
- Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
